PIT POWER®
Is bacteria and bacteria feeders designed for manure pits and for composting. By adding PIT POWER® to a manure pit it will help to reduce the solid material in the pit for easier pumping. By adding the bacteria which is mostly aerobic bacteria it will help to reduce the odor. The real bad odors are caused from more anaerobic types of bacteria. PIT POWER® can also help in composting by breaking down the organic materials in a composting pile.
HOW TO USE PIT POWER®
The amout of PIT POWER® used depends on the type of manure in the pit. An example in a hog manure pit, one gallon of PIT POWER®would be added per 100,000 gallons of pit volume. In a pit with cattle manure, one gallon of PIT POWER® per 75,000 gallons of pit volume. In a pit with dairy manure, one gallon of PIT POWER® per 50,000 gallons of pit volume.
